The Brecon Beacons, Autumn 2011

For our Autumn holiday we decided to explore the Brecon Beacons and Cardiff as it was an area that neither of us had been to for a long time. We rented a cottage in Ponsticill which was not short of a gravy boat or two!! We spent an enjoyable week which included doing the Breacon Beacons horseshoe, visiting Cardiff and walking to some interesting waterfalls. We also met the folk of Ponsticill and sampled their 'nightlife', which for a small South Wales village was surprisingly lively ( considering it was low season ).
